Yes, internet has made life better...that said… you may have to rethink about it.

You can spend hours on the net with comfort and ease, yet you don’t share enough emotions with others. You may spend hours on the net yet you don’t realize that there is someone at home to whom you have to bond with. You might have chatted with someone on the net many times yet when you meet the same someone you feel a certain degree of strangeness.
Relationships do suffer, intimacy is lacking. The main thing here is to fix your priorities. Those people who are present right now in your living space are the most important people; they need the most attention from you. Managing relationships is important and minimizing the virtual relations over the net will buy you a lot of time to experience the intimacy we crave for most of the time.
